Shell and UFT join forces on sulphur-enhanced urea technology
Shell and Uhde Fertilizer Technologies (UFT), part of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions, are pleased to announce their partnership to integrate UFT鈥檚 fluid bed granulation technology with Shell鈥檚 Urea-ES technology, which was introduced in May 2015. This announcement comes after the two companies successfully granulated Shell-developed Urea-ES emulsion in UFT鈥檚 fluid bed granulation pilot plant in Leuna, Germany.
Shell Launches Sulphur-enhanced Urea Technology
Shell has announced the development of Shell Thiogro Urea-ES technology, the second generation of its Shell Thiogro sulphur-enhanced fertiliser technologies. This technology enables fertiliser manufacturers to incorporate micronised sulphur particles into urea鈥攁n industry first鈥攑roducing a differentiated sulphur-enhanced urea product.
