RNZ International Facility Start-Up
RNZ International licenses Shell Thiogro technology to bring a new fertiliser offering to farmers globally.
Shell Thiogro* Technology has been deployed by RNZ International in its new production facility in the United Arab Emirates. The sulphur-enhanced fertiliser is called 鈥淧urti NS Plus鈥. The new production facility was successfully commissioned in Kizad, UAE, in December 2022.

RNZ International were among the attendees of the Kenyan field trials of Shell鈥檚 Thiogro fertiliser in July 2019 where they witnessed first-hand the increase in crop yields enabled via the patented micronised elemental sulphur technology.
Raza Soomar, Founder and CEO of RNZ said 鈥淩NZ has always been pursuing new technologies to benefit the farmers. Shell Thiogro technology is a good fit to deliver nutrition in the most efficient way. Our new research centre will add value to existing product and aims to customise it as per local agronomical needs.
