Houston Dash and Houston Dynamo have an ambition to reduce Shell Energy Stadium鈥檚 carbon emissions by 50% come 2026.鈥�
The solution鈥�
We worked together with Houston Dash and Houston Dynamo to conduct an assessment of their stadium and developed a decarbonisation roadmap to implement a range of integrated low-carbon energy solutions to help meet their unique business energy needs. These include transitioning to a 100% renewable electricity plan** and other energy-efficient solutions like monitoring systems and upgrades to lighting. On-site solar generation and low-carbon energy delivery have also been installed, along with EV chargers for players and staff. A sub-metering system tracks energy production from the solar panels and EV charging use, helping the Club to better understand the demand of game and event days. This technology will be essential in improving decision making related to energy consumption and the overall reduction of their scope 1 and 2 emissions. 鈥�
