Shell has to date powered Scuderia Ferrari to 10 FIA Formula 1庐 Constructors鈥 titles and 12 Drivers鈥 Championship wins.

We invest more than 21,000-man hours a year from over 50 technical staff to create the race fuels and lubricants that power the team to success on the track.

All Shell V-Power race fuel and Shell Helix Ultra race lubricant formulations are blended and produced at the Shell Technology Centre in Hamburg, Germany.

In recent years, advanced digital technology has been used in 1,000,000+ fuel simulations to help maximise the performance and efficiency of Scuderia Ferrari鈥檚 Power Unit.

Out of these, 250,000 simulations were already dedicated to the breakthrough F1 fuel change coming in 2022, with the introduction of Ethanol at E10 level.

Every Ferrari that leaves its famed factory is powered by Shell V-Power fuel, with our formulas not just restricted to the F1 engine.

Meanwhile, Shell also supplies Scuderia Ferrari with a formulation of low viscosity engine oil, Shell Helix Ultra. The race lubricant has been co-designed with Scuderia Ferrari and is vital to the cleaning, protecting, lubricating and cooling of the engine, while delivering improved performance and efficiency.

As well as helping Scuderia Ferrari win races on the racetrack, our investment in research and development in Formula One has one main purpose 鈥 to develop better fuels and lubricants for customers around the world, where innovations from the track are transferred to our road-going products.
