Technical Partnership with Ducati
The Technical Partnership with Ducati Corse dates back to 1999 when Ducati entered the FIM Superbike World Championship. This collaboration has now spanned 24 years, including 20 years in the FIM MotoGP鈩 World Championship.鈥
Ducati Corse made history in 2023 by winning both the Riders鈥 and Constructors鈥 World Titles in the FIM MotoGP鈩 World Championship and the FIM Superbike World Championship for a second year in a row.
What we have learned on the track, we have brought to the road, with every Ducati road bike that leaves the factory using Shell Advance oil and Shell V-Power fuel formulations that have been rigorously tested throughout the racing season.
Looking to the future in MotoGP
Shell and Ducati's Technical Partnership is prominently displayed on the MotoGP grid, where the renowned Ducati Desmosedici motorcycles, piloted by Italian riders Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, compete.鈥
The collaboration between Shell and Ducati has yielded remarkable success on the racetrack, as evidenced by their recent triumph in the 2022 and 2023 MotoGP campaigns. Ducati emerged victorious in 2023, securing its fourth consecutive Constructors' Championship and, for the first time in its MotoGP history, a second consecutive Riders' World title with Italian rider Francesco Bagnaia.鈥

Revving up the Superbike World Championship
In addition to MotoGP, Shell's Technical Partnership with Ducati Corse extends its influence into the Superbike World Championship through the collaboration with Aruba.it Racing, Ducati's factory-supported team. This partnership enables the team to continually push the boundaries of performance in the championship.鈥
The 2023 World Superbike Championship saw Aruba.it Racing 鈥 Ducati win all three titles by conquering the World Championship Team, Manufacturers鈥 and Riders鈥 titles with Spanish rider Alvaro Bautista.
The Aruba.it Racing team relies on the power of Shell's V-Power race fuel and the reliability of Shell Advance engine oil to enhance their performance on the track. These Shell products are specifically designed to deliver durability and performance from the first race to the final round of the championship.鈥

Francesco Bagnaia鈥

Francesco Bagnaia鈥
The reigning MotoGP two-time World Champion has had a remarkable journey in motorcycle racing.
The Italian embarked on his racing career in Minimoto and quickly rose to prominence, earning the title of European MiniGP Champion in 2009.
Bagnaia later made a strong entry into Moto2, where he was recognized as the best rookie of the season. His exceptional performance continued, and he went on to clinch the Moto2 World Championship title with eight wins and twelve podium finishes -an achievement that propelled him into MotoGP in 2019.鈥
Bagnaia鈥檚 has since established himself as the man to beat in MotoGP. His 2022 & 2023 MotoGP titles make him the first rider since 2019 to take back-to-back premier class crowns.
Enea Bastianini鈥

Enea Bastianini鈥
Enea Bastianini, a new addition to the Ducati Corse factory racing team for 2023, earned his place through a series of impressive performances over the previous two seasons.
In his debut year, the Italian rider secured two podium finishes, showcasing his potential. He then went on to claim his debut victory at the opening round of the 2022 season in Qatar, riding the Ducati GP21 for the Gresini Racing MotoGP team. Throughout the 2022 season, Bastianini recorded four victories, positioning himself as a strong contender for the championship alongside Francesco Bagnaia. In the 2023 season, Bastianini became the seventh different rider to win a race as he secured his first victory of the campaign at the Malaysian Grand Prix.鈥
Hailing from Rimini in Italy, Bastianini's journey with motorcycles began at the tender age of three.

脕lvaro Bautista
The Spaniard enjoyed another dominant season with a total of 27 victories and breaking multiple records on the way to a second consecutive World Superbike title.鈥
Throughout his impressive career, Bautista has competed for various teams in the MotoGP World Championship, securing three podium finishes. He made the transition to the Superbike World Championship in 2019, initially with Honda and now with the Ducati racing team. Bautista has accumulated an impressive record of 59 wins and 89 podium finishes over the past give years. Bautista was the 125cc GP World Champion in 2006.鈥
Nicol貌 Bulega

Nicol貌 Bulega
In 2022, Nicol貌 moved to the World Supersport Championship with the Aruba.it Racing team where he achieved 9 podiums finishing fourth in the standings. The Italian then went onto win the 2023 Supersport World Championship with three races to spare (the second World Title for Ducati in the Supersport category) before joining the team for the 2024 WorldSBK season aboard the Ducati Panigale V4R.
