Shell Marine has recently been awarded China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company鈥檚 (COSCO SHIPPING) largest marine lubricants order in 2017.  This order will include the full range of marine lubricants and technical services for 7out of COSCO SHIPPING鈥橲 10 new generation Ultra Large Container Carriers (ULCCs) with capacities of approximately 20,000 TEUs each, ordered in 2015 and due to be in service from 2018-2019.  Shell Marine has supplied marine lubricants and services to over 140 COSCO SHIPPING vessels since 2004.

Shell Marine has officially launched Shell Alexia 140, a two-stroke engine cylinder oil whose exceptionally high base number aims to deliver the ultimate protection for the most modern efficient engines against cold corrosion issues and the means of optimising oil feed rates when fuel grades change.

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal companies, has appointed Shell Marine to provide its integrated marine solutions, which include lubricants and services for OOCL Hong Kong.

New oils help ship owners鈥� meet cost and performance challenges.

Shell Marine has renewed its technical partnership for a further four years with the University of Cebu - Maritime Education and Training Center (UC METC). 

Shell Marine is introducing its Marine Integrated Lubrication and Expert Solutions (MILES) programme, its new and unique approach in lubricants management.  This new initiative includes combining purchasing options, services and an extensive range of lubricant products in a multi-faceted strategy addressing its customers鈥� most pressing operational concerns.
