Shell in Myanmar

Shell has no licenses in Myanmar. All exploration blocks have been relinquished.

With Upstream block relinquishments since 2017, Shell Myanmar closed its physical office in Myanmar and no longer maintains a presence in country. All exploration blocks, including those operated with partners have been relinquished.

Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) accepted termination of the last block A-7 effective 30 September 2021.

Shell currently works with selected lubricant commercial partners to distribute lubricants.
