Shell鈥檚 current presence in The Bahamas is through our regional trading office in Nassau, 鈥淪hell Western Supply and Trading Limited鈥� (SWST).
Part of Shell鈥檚 global trading arm, SWST covers all the crude trading activities related to West Africa and Latin America.
The global network of Shell Trading companies encompasses Shell鈥檚 trading activities in every major energy market around the world. Shell Trading supports the Shell businesses, in particular Oil Products, Gas and Power and Chemicals, by trading natural gas, electrical power, crude oil, refined products, biofuels, chemical feedstocks, environmental products and freight. We also manage one of the world's largest fleets of LNG carriers and oil tankers and provide maritime expertise to Shell companies and external customers. Our 50 years of experience in the natural gas industry makes us one of the world鈥檚 most experienced players: our supply portfolio includes access to significant volumes of equity LNG and gas-to-liquids products.
Since 2006, the independent Bahamian company 鈥淪un Oil鈥� has been the local marketer and distributor of Shell fuels and lubricants products throughout The Bahamas and Turks & Caicos.
