The goal of a universal solution has not yet been reached by anyone in the market, but Shell’s European tolling solution is already helping fleets travel more smoothly across borders throughout the continent.

From having fewer devices cluttering up their dashboard to avoiding fines, a comprehensive solution can help make life easier for drivers and provide peace of mind for fleet managers.

The full integration of all European toll systems is expected to take five or six years as technical implementation and certification procedures are completed in each country across the network.

With over 30 years of experience in tolling, Shell has built a strong network of relationships with providers, and will be at the forefront of developments as they happen.

Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

The Shell EETS Solution lets you travel across these countries with a single device. As new territories join EETS, they will be wirelessly added to our network until there is a universal solution for all of Europe.

Countries: Slovenia, Slovakia, and Czech Republic.

These countries are expected to join the Shell EETS network in 2021 – until then you can still bring them under your contract with Shell, combining the Shell EETS solution with an OBU from a local toll provider.

These countries do not yet offer an EETS solution, but you can use your Shell Card to link to a national toll payment solution through a local provider.
