Shell-led consortium to explore Solid Oxide Fuel Cell technology use in shipping sector
Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Ltd (Shell) has signed a consortium agreement with Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co. (KSOE), Ltd, HyAxiom INC, Doosan Fuel Cell Co., LTD, (DFCC), JP Morgan Asset Management and DNV to develop Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology for the marine sector.
Shell and CMA CGM sign agreements on LNG and decarbonisation into the future
Shell and CMA CGM Group have signed agreements that will see them work closely together to accelerate decarbonising the marine sector. This includes a multi-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply agreement, which will supply LNG to CMA CGM鈥檚 13,000 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) vessels in the Port of Singapore, starting from the second half of 2023.
