Shell Chemicals wins sustainability award
Shell Chemicals has been recognised as a winner of BNSF鈥檚 2023 Sustainability Awards program. Along with nine other recipients, Shell Chemicals has received the award from BSNF, a North American freight transportation company, for our progress in delivering sustainable solutions in 2023.
Shell Chemicals has been recognised for its work in developing sustainable solutions for customers in both Europe and North America. This includes our work with Bridgestone to produce circular butadiene (through recycled plastic) which was used in the manufacture of the tires used in , as well as our wider efforts in producing renewable fuels, plastic circularity products, and bio-based chemicals from our Energy and Chemical Park鈥檚 such as Norco in Louisiana.
