Our Shell AeroJet is a premium aviation fuel offering major benefits to pilots, operators and owners of turbine aircraft in Canada and Brazil. Shell AeroJet minimises or eliminates problems previously associated with the build-up of water in fuel tanks on business jets, turbo-prop aircraft and helicopters.
Which aircraft is AeroJet compatible with?
AeroJet tends to be used in any aircraft where the customer requests the additive fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII). This additive is mandated for use in:
- business jets; and
- turbine helicopters.

Prevents ice formation
Shell AeroJet uses FSII, an approved additive that dramatically lowers the freezing point of water, preventing ice formation. It also creates an environment that discourages the growth of microbiological organisms.
Prevents exposure to harmful vapours
Shell Aviation doses FSII via inline injection that ensures accurate dosing and good mixing of FSII with the fuel. The major advantage of Shell AeroJet over pressure-fed cans and other dosage systems is the assurance your fuel has been dosed with the additive at exactly the correct rate, every time, without any exposure to harmful vapours.
